Junior Designer / Project Manager

Essential Job Functions:

  • Meet with clients in concert with principal and singularly for in home consultations

  • Measure client homes and input into AutoCAD

  • Support architectural design team with drawings for interior architecture

  • Create floor plans, elevations, sketches, renderings, presentation boards and any additional graphics for presentations

  • Create schedules for all projects

  • Research and assist in coordination of colors, finishes, fabrics, hardware

  • Visit vendors for product source

  • Input information into Design Manager software for proposal and track all products through to installation

  • Project manage and schedule subcontractors

  • Track and allocate all hours worked on client projects and present to Office Manager / Bookkeeper at the end of every calendar month for client billing: all hours to be accounted for and assigned to client

  • Provide outstanding customer service including responding to phone calls
    & emails

  • Support and assist staff in communicating with company clients, vendors, bookkeepers and employees

  • Assist in the organization of the office and filing system, computer files, client and vendor database

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining fabric library as needed

Requirements:

  • Full-time in person in our Lexington, MA studio

  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and execute assigned tasks

  • Fluent in AutoCAD

  • 2-5 years of design experience with construction supervision and understanding of residential construction
